Meet Me!
I’m Kaity – a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley with a lifelong love for animals, especially equines. Horses, mules, and donkeys have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and today I care for my own herd of 4 donkeys, 3 mules, 2 horses, a pony, 8 goats, and one sheep. This daily, hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of animal behavior, care, and well-being.
After ending my career as a Professional Firefighter in 2021, I chose to pursue my passion full-time. I began working for an equine veterinary practice, where I continue to expand my skills and knowledge in horse health and management. I am certified in Pet First Aid & CPR by The American Red Cross and have completed numerous Animal Care and Nutrition courses through SUNY Ulster and Penn State Extension.
Through Wild Things Animal Services, I offer professional, reliable, and compassionate equine care, including:
Emergency and scheduled equine transport
Sheath cleaning
Bandage changes and wound care follow-up
General equine care and wellness support
While my services are tailored primarily to equines, I also enjoy working with other livestock and small animals. My goal is to give owners peace of mind knowing their animals are in experienced, capable hands.
